JAKARTA - PT Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (FPIN) made a profit of US$ 6.1 million in 2018. This figure increased by 451% from the loss suffered by the company in 2017 amounting to US$ 1.7 million.
In terms of revenue, FPIN recorded a slight growth of 0.1% from US$ 433.3 million in 2017 to US$ 433.9 million at the end of 2018.
"Overall, sales volume decreased by 12% during 2018, but this was mitigated by a higher selling price of 15% for own products and 10% for imported products," said Calvin Wiryapranata, Chief Financial Officer of Lotte Chemical Titan in public expose.
For information, Lotte Chemical's sales in 2018 were still dominated by the domestic market, amounting to US$ 394 million or 90% and the rest from exports of US$ 40 million or 10%. (LM)
