JAKARTA. The net profit of Omni Hospitals, a hospital managed by PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME) fell by 18.2% to Rp 59 billion during the 2018 financial year, mainly due to the company's expansion at the end of the year.

In its official statement delivered last weekend, SAME said that the company managed to generate Rp 72 billion in net profit the previous year. "The declining net profit is an effect of the operational costs of Omni Hospitals Pekayon, which began operating in the fourth quarter of 2018," said Surina, Director of SAME.

At present, SAME has managed Omni Hospitals in four locations. This also made the company's revenue grew by 22.8% in 2018 to Rp. 952 billion, from Rp. 776 billion recorded in the previous year. Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of SAME from 2013 to 2018 is at the level of 9.8%. (KR/AR)
