JAKARTA - PT Link Net Tbk (LINK) targets 60,000 new customers this year. As of the first quarter of 2019, the company’s paid television and broadband internet service provider First Media had logged 603,000 customers.

LINK Head of Investor Relations Joel Ellis said that the company continues to expand its home pass network by focusing on new cities, particularly in Java. “We forecast a total of 650,000 to 660,000 customers with 60,000 new customers in 2019,” he told Kontan, Thursday (18/7).

To achieve the target, LINK has budgeted capital expenditure (capex) of Rp 1.4--1.5 trillion to expand its home pass network. The company’s management predicts that this year there will be 250,000 additional home passes.

In addition, Mr Ellis added, the company also continues marketing LINK’s product to its network of investors to expand its market network. Customer growth this year is also expected to be in line with the company’s performance. (MS)
