JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed slightly higher by 10.06 points or 0.16% to 6,296.71. JCI was seen moving in the range of 6,285.71 and 6,329.35 after it was closed at 6,286.65 on last Friday.
Five sectors survived in today's trade with the biggest increase in the basic industrial sector (1.32%). Five other sectors weakened, namely trade, consumer goods, mining, agriculture and miscellaneous industries.
Top gainers in today's trading are PT Bank China Construction Bank Indonesia Tbk (MCOR), PT Alfa Energi Investama Tbk (FIRE) and PT Bank Artos Indonesia Tbk (ARTO). (LM)
