JAKARTA. Satellite services contributed 71.5% of PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk's (IPTV) consolidated revenue which reached Rp 3.5 trillion.
The company managed to record 9% more revenue than in 2018 (Rp 3.2 trillion).
Ade Tjendra, President Director of IPTV, said that satellite services provided by the company is direct to home. The revenue from this business in 2019 reached Rp 2.5 trillion, 6% higher than its record in 2018 of Rp 2.3 trillion.
"The contribution of K-Vision, as the pre-paid DTH TV services, which was acquired by the company in mid-2019, has proven to contribute significantly to the growth of the revenue from IPTV's satellite services," he said as quoted by kontan.co.id, last week.
In the end, IPTV's EBITDA also rose by 12% YoY from Rp 1.3 trillion in 2018 to Rp 1.5 trillion in 2019. (AM/AR)
