Dian Astriana, Head of Corporate Communication at GOOD said that the prospect of soft drink sales in Indonesia is increasing, especially chocolate flavoured ones. As is known, the company has several brands in sachets, including Chocolatos and Clevo.
The category, according to Dian, is increasingly expansive and its players are not only SMEs but also large scale industries.
In addition, continued Dian, the trend of consumption of these products is supported by the many studies and lifestyle of consumers, making chocolate drinks as a lifestyle in all generations. Talking about the prospect of this product, the company is optimistic that the segment growth will be around 10% this year.
The company's financial statements in the first semester of 2019 revealed that the company recorded sales of Rp 4.27 trillion, 6.2% higher than the record in the same period the previous year of Rp 4.02 trillion. Snack sales dominated the company's total sales (85% or Rp 3.65 trillion). (AM/AR)
