JAKARTA – PT Caraka Reksa Optima (CRO) gains control over 89.90% of shares of PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) after concluding the mandatory tender offer last week (29/9).
Anto Broto, Coporate Secretary of Petrosea, confirmed that CRO had conducted a mandatory tender offer following its new status as the controlling shareholder. “The number of acquired shares reached 201,691,457 units or 20% of the entire shares of the company,” he revealed in the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (4/10).
The execution price of the mandatory tender is set to IDR 3,118 per share. Once calculated, the total value of this transaction reaches IDR 628.87 billion. Prior to this transaction, CRO’s portion in PTRO was capped at 69.80% or 704,014,200 shares. (LK/ZH)
