Kopi Kenangan prepares mobile app launch

06 November 2018 14:41

JAKARTA - Kopi Kenangan is scheduled to launch a mobile application that allows customers to place order online.

According to Kopi Kenangan founder and CEO, Edward Tirtanata, the development of the application aims to facilitate consumers in making orders. The application will allow customers to pre-order and then take orders at Kopi Kenangan outlets.

"The development of the mobile app is to facilitate orders, customers can order when they arrive at the Kopi Kenangan outlet just to take it. That way, customers don't need to face long queue problems at rush hour," he told Bisnis Indonesia last weekend.

In mid-October, Kopi Kenangan obtained  a seed funding of U $ 8 million from venture capital firm Alpha JWC Ventures.

Mr Tirtanata added that the development of mobile applications is in line with the company's vision that carries the new retail business model. However, he considers the big vision can only run effectively if the company opens a massive number of outlets. (MS)
