JAKARTA. The net profit of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) reaches IDR 586.57 billion in the first half of 2021. It is 25% higher than IDR 457.88 billion reported in the same period last year.

Its financial report reveals that the net profit growth goes hand in hand with the increasing revenue of 7.96% year-on-year (yoy), now scoring IDR 6.67 trillion from IDR 6.17 trillion reported in the same period in 2020.

However, its sales costs now amount to IDR 4.57 trillion from IDR 4.29 trillion as its operating expenses move from IDR 1.46 trillion to IDR 1.48 trillion and finance costs triples to IDR 21.26 billion from IDR 6.25 billion. These increments in expenses result in its net profit reaching IDR 586.57 billion, increasing 25%.

In this period, INTP’s assets slightly shift to IDR 27.35 trillion from IDR 27.34 trillion reported by the end of 2020. Regarding its liability, there is a sloping to IDR 4.59 trillion in H1 2021 from IDR 5.16 trillion in December 2020. Additionally, its equity is more solid at IDR 22.76 trillion in H1 2021 compared to IDR 22.17 trillion at the end of 2020. (AM/ZH))
