JAKARTA. PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) in 2019 posted a net loss of Rp 1.14 trillion, among others due to soaring cost of revenue by 33.66%.
Although Acset Indonusa's net revenue could still grow 6.18% (yoy) from Rp 3.72 trillion to Rp 3.95 trillion, the total cost of goods sold soared to Rp 4.05 trillion (from Rp 3.03 previously trillion) has eroded revenue. Plus the burden of raw materials also jumped 56.43% from Rp 1.53 trillion to Rp 2.17 trillion.
All these expenses put the company at a net loss of Rp 1.14 trillion, compared to the previous year which was still able to achieve a net profit of Rp 18.28 billion. (AM)
