In 2019, fifty-five companies went public and opened up their business to investors in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Overall, four companies offered more than Rp1000 per share and 28 companies with offers below Rp200. Here’s the summary of the companies with the highest IPO in 2019.

Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas (LIFE) recorded the highest offer of the year on the 9th of July 2019. Their offer is at the point of Rp12.100 per share, way above the offers from other companies. However, the value dropped to Rp6.250 in September the same year, then gradually decreasing until the end of 2020 at Rp4.790.

The second highest offer on the list was from Estika Tata Tiara Tbk (BEEF) that went public in January with Rp1.635 per share. Unfortunately, their share price keeps lowering down in 2020 and gets to the point Rp160 at the end of the year.  Two other companies that offered more than Rp1.000 are Uni-Charm Indonesia Tbk (UCID) with Rp1.500 and Dana Brata Luhur Tbk (TEBE) with Rp1.095 per share. Uni-Charm successfully increased its share value to the point Rp1.470, meanwhile, Dana Brata Luhur showed a negative trend and the share value was at Rp 530 by the end of 2020.

The other notable companies with high offers in 2019 are Gunung Raja Paksi (GGRP) with Rp840, Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (KEJU) Rp750, and Hensel Davest Indonesia (HDIT) Rp525, Ginting Jaya Energi (WOWS), Ifishdeco (IFSH) Rp440, and Kencana Energi Lestari (KEEN) with Rp396 per share. At the same time, IDX also reported that there were 28 companies offered below Rp200 per share. (KD)
