JAKARTA - PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI) is planning to develop a 24-km loopline for KRL Commuter Line in Jakarta. According to ADHI CEO Budi Harto, the project aims to minimise disruption on existing railways.
“The project’s investment value amounts to Rp 15 trillion,” said Mr Harto at Grandhika Hotel, South Jakarta as quoted by CNBC Indonesia, Monday (15/4).
Currently ADHI is still working on a project design to be presented to the government. The project tender will also be launched at the end of the year.
“Next year the project can commence,” Mr Harto said. He added that ADHI considers a loopline to be more effective because it will not disrupt road traffic. (MS)
