JAKARTA. PT Segar Kumala Indonesia Tbk (BUAH) has opened up a new branch office and cold storage in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung. This is the 13th branch office that BUAH has established.

Toni Soegiarto, Director of BUAH, claimed that his company remains optimistic about securing a solid performance this year despite economic problems and global recession. This optimism, Soegiarto said, will be followed by business strategies prepared by the company.

“The expansion that we have been initiating since late last year has become BUAH’s strategy in maintaining our performance in the future,” Soegiarto added in the official release.

BUAH currently manages three main distribution routes that handle its business activities focusing in Medan, Jakarta, and Surabaya. These cities also act as points of distribution of imported fruits, which will then be distributed to cold storages in various regions.

Soegiarto also claimed that BUAH’s revenue growth in 2022 reached 40% year-on-year (yoy). In 2021, its revenue was recorded at IDR 1 trillion. “Furthermore, last year, there have been many new milestones that we have reached, including becoming a publicly listed company,” he said. (KR/ZH)
