JAKARTA – The revenue of PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk (BHIT) clocked up to IDR 18.08 trillion in 2022, 64.38% of which came from the media segment. The profit was then seen increasing 5.71% in 2022 from the same period in 2021.

In the information disclosure quoted Monday (3/4), the media segment contributed IDR 11.64 trillion to the revenue in 2022, consisting of non-digital advertisement of IDR 4.21 trillion, digital advertisement of IDR 2.53 trillion, subscription of IDR 422.52 billion, pay TV and broadband of IDR 2.67 trillion, as well as content and IP of IDR 1.79 trillion.

The financial institution segment generated IDR 2.81 trillion, which was made up of financing, securities, and non-digital insurance of IDR 1.27 trillion, the digital of IDR 290.61 billion, as well as banks and financial institutions of IDR 1.24 trillion. Lastly, the mining segment brought in IDR 2.70 trillion followed by other segments of IDR 923.50 billion.

In 2021, BHIT’s total revenue reached IDR 17.87 trillion. The media segment generated IDR 13.23 trillion of revenue, followed by the financial institutions of IDR 2.67 trillion, the mining segment of IDR 1.06 trillion, and others of IDR 896.93 billion.

In the end, its EBITDA grew 4.3% stronger from IDR 6.42 trillion in 2021 to IDR 6.69 trillion in 2022. Its net profit was also increasing from IDR 2.53 trillion to IDR 2.68 trillion. (LK/ZH)
