TANGERANG – Astra Group, through one of its subsidiaries under PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), alongside PT Indonesia Comnets Plus (PLN Icon Plus), agreed to cooperate in developing the implementation of PLTS Atap in Indonesia to support higher renewable energy mix. EPN and PLN Icon Plus will offer an integrated solution to meet PLTS Atap’s needs from Astra Group and other users outside Astra Group.

PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), as the renewable energy pillar of Astra Group, believes that with this cooperation on hand, the company will contribute in the acceleration of national energy mix. As of now, EPN has and is currently installing PLTS Atap with a total capacity of 18.63 MWp. It has become a concrete initiative of Astra Group in contributing in greenhouse gas emission reduction. EPN is constantly committed in terms of establishing new-and-renewable-energy-based power plants and providing added value to its users, all the while ensuring the entire process went swift, well, and according to the specified target.

Through this strategic partnership, EPN and PLN Icon Plus emphasised their commitment in the full contribution towards the acceleration of new and renewable energy utilisation, one of them including the utilisation of solar energy through PLTS Atap in Indonesia. EPN’s spirit, as well as Astra’s, in transitioning to a company that has become more sustainable is in line with the Astra 2030 Sustainability Aspirations and United Tractors 2030 Sustainability Aspirations.
