JAKARTA - PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) recorded 28.7% increase in its new contracts to IDR 6.7 trillion in 2023 from IDR 5.2 trillion in 2022. This year, it aims to score 20% growth in its new contracts.

I Gede Upeksa Negara, President Director of PPRE, mentioned that projects from mining services generated IDR 4.4 trillion, representing 66% of total new contracts, followed by civil construction and civil work projects. “The contribution of mining service increased 11% from the same period in 2022,” he said in the press release quoted Wednesday (31/1).

PPRE closed 2023 with new contracts worth IDR 923.2 billion, consisting of mining services projects of IDR 574.5 billion, civil construction of IDR 163.4 billion, and supporting business line of IDR 28 billion, and civil work of IDR 157.1 billion.

According to Negara, the company’s strategy of handling mining services has been appropriate, considering the large contribution of new contracts from said sector. His company will further boost this sector’s contribution in order to provide added value to stakeholders.

The largest contribution, or 74% of total new contracts, came from the parent company, while the remaining portion came from PPRE’s subsidiaries. “We also continue to synergise with PP Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk, a parent company of infrastructure construction services,” said Negara.
