JAKARTA - On Thursday, April 4, foreign buy volume was greater (2.31 billion shares) than the foreign sell (1.93 billion shares). As a result, net foreign volume closed at 380.73 million shares. The digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) had the most purchased shares, with 554.40 million and a net volume of 363.17 million. Meanwhile, the most sold shares were shares of the aerosol services company PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO), at 122.92 million shares, and it recorded a net volume of -100.27 million shares.

Foreign investors then sold shares of two banking businesses, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) for 125.38 million shares and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) for 78.47 million shares, to round out the top sellers. These two transactions resulted in a net volume of 66.12 million shares for BBNI and 32.43 million for BBRI. PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) shares in the telecommunications sectors were also sold for 161.78 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -47.26 million shares. Around 51.10 million shares of energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were also sold, with a net volume of -26.90 million shares.

Foreign investors, on the other hand, also purchased 105.55 million shares of mineral mining company PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), for a net volume of 87.01 million. Shares of domestic and foreign shipping companies PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) and metal ore mining company PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) were bought for around 54 million shares each. The net volume for BULL was 44.23 million shares, while that for MDKA was 33.15 million shares. The last shares on the top buy list were PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO), a herbal medicine and herbal medicine producer, which was purchased for 49.05 million shares with a net volume of 26.70 million shares.
