JAKARTA - The total dividends for the fiscal year 2023 distributed by PT Multifiling Mitra Indonesia Tbk (MFMI) decreased by 17.17% compared to the dividends for the fiscal year 2022. The decline in dividends is in contrast to the realization of increased revenue and profit.

In the minutes of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) quoted on Friday (3/5), Senjaya Bidjaksana, Corporate Secretary of MFMI said that the net profit for the 2023 fiscal year was used for dividends of IDR 28.03 billion or IDR 37 per share, IDR 50 million for reserve funds, and the remaining IDR 65.01 billion for retained earnings. "Cash dividends will be paid on May 31, 2024 to shareholders who are registered (recording date) as of May 15, 2024," he said.

In 2023, the issuer collected revenue of IDR 170.31 billion, up from the same period in 2022 of IDR 157.64 billion. Profit for the year was IDR 51.61 billion, stable from IDR 51.58 billion, and attributable profit was IDR 28.14 billion, up from IDR 24.04 billion.

In the 2022 fiscal year, MFMI distributed a total dividend of IDR 34.09 billion or IDR 45, which included an interim dividend of IDR 13.63 billion or IDR 18 and a cash dividend of IDR 20.45 billion or IDR 27 per share. (LK/LM)
