JAKARTA – Indonesia Composite Index is showing a better performance compared to the last trading on Friday, August 11, 2017.
On Friday, JCI index closed at 5,766.138 and by the end of first trading session today noted at 5,789.331, which increased 23.190 points or 0.40%. JCI reached its highest point at 5,802.006 and lowest point at 5,766.138.
The movement today was driven by several sectors such as miscellaneous by 14.290 points or 1.07% from 1,329.747 to 1,344.033, followed by property of 4.450 points or 0.89% from 500,434 to 504,882 and basic industry by 5.150 points or 0.85% from 608,221 to 613,376.
In the miscellaneous industry sector, PT Indo Kordsa Tbk (BRAM) posted the biggest change of 19.40% or a change of Rp 2,250 and also PT Indomobil Sukses International Tbk (IMAS) with a change of 8.82% or Rp 90.
PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) and PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) also posted around 4% change during the first trading session in the property sector. While in the basic industry sectors, several cement and animal feed companies recorded change nearly 2% such as PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), PT Semen Baturaja (Peresero) Tbk (SMBR), PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN), and PT Japfa Comfeed Tbk (JPFA).
