SMBR Corporate Secretary Ruddy Solang on Saturday (15/9) said the MoU is valid for the next three years. As well as signing an MoU with PT Timah, SMBR has also formed partnerships with PT Pos Logistik Indonesia and PT Multimedia Nusantara.
The partnerships were also signed last week. In the partnerships SMBR will supply cement for the development of Pos Logistik’s and Multimedia Nusantara’s projects.
“With these partnerships we hope we can support Semen Baturaja in terms of efficiency,” said Mr Solang.
Previously SMBR formed partnerships with several logistic companies, and is now planning to focus on a small number of logistic companies for the sake of efficiency. “Overall logistic costs cover 20% of our selling prices,” Mr Solang said. (AM/MS)
