JAKARTA. PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) has secured new contracts worth Rp 4.3 trillion from the PT Pertamina (Persero) project addendum and several toll road projects in September 2018.
Ratna Ningrum, Corporate Secretary of WSBP, explained that several contracts obtained by the company include the Bocimi Toll Project (Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi), KLBM Toll Road (Krian-Legundi-Bunder-Manyar), and the Pasuruan-Probolinggo Toll Road.
The new contract increased the acquisition of WSBP contracts by up to 5%, from the acquisition of contracts from the previous month (Rp 4.08 trillion).
The realisation of the WSBP contract as of September, realised 51.80% of the company's contract target of Rp 8.3 trillion until the end of this year. The target has been lowered from the initial value of Rp 11.52 trillion, due to the policy of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) to delay investment in a number of toll road projects.
In addition, WSBP has received payment of terms worth Rp 7.15 trillion as of September. "The amount comes from projects including the Solo-Kertosono Toll, KLBM Toll Road, Pemalang-Batang Toll Road, the Large-Pematang-Panggang Toll Road, and the Batang-Semarang Toll Road," Ms Ningrum explained as quoted by Kontan. She added, WSBP will still receive payment terms from the turnkey Toll Becakayu (Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu) project worth Rp 9 trillion. (KR/MS)
