JAKARTA. Qatar National Bank has injected fresh funds its Indonesian subsidiary PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk (BKSW) worth US$ 45 million.
Junita Wangsadinata, Acting President Director of BKSW said on November 6, 2018 BKSW accepted the placement of funds in the form of a capital deposit from Qatar National Bank as the controlling shareholder of US$ 45 million.
"[We are] aiming to strengthen and increase the ratio of minimum capital adequacy (KPMM) of the company. Thus, it is expected to foster better and optimally macro financial performance," said Ms Wangsadinata in information disclosure at the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday (8/11).
Qatar National Bank is BKSW's controlling hareholder with ownership of 92.48%. At the close of trading on Thursday he shares of BKSW closed stagnant at the price of Rp 190. (AM/MS)
