JAKARTA - The revenue of PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO) was recorded at Rp 4.39 trillion in the third quarter, a grow by 12.72% compared with the same period of 2017 at Rp 3.89 trillion. Two main business, inpatient and outpatient contributed to the increase in revenue.
Based on the company's financial report, the inpatient revenue was Rp 2.61 trillion, increased from Rp 2.31 trillion in the same period of last year. This segment consisted of medical support services and professional fees (Rp 938.52 billion), drugs and medical supplies (Rp 802.53 billion), room service (Rp 374.19 billion), hospital's facility (Rp 248.04 billion), operating theatre (Rp 99.63 billion), and administration income and others (Rp 149.79 billion).
While, the outpatient income was recorded at Rp 1.78 trillion, growing from Rp 1.58 trillion in the same period last year. This segment consisted of medical support services and professional fees (Rp 1.08 trillion), drugs and medical supplies (Rp 535.64 billion), hospital's facility (Rp 108.54 billion), and administration income and others (Rp 49.81 billion).
The gross profit recorded Rp 1.40 trillion, growing from Rp 1.21 trillion. Its operating profit of Rp 120.96 billion, declined from Rp 150.03 billion and profit before tax of Rp 104.61 billion declined from Rp 132.80 billion and the profit for the period of Rp 9.65 billion dropped from Rp 70.06 billion.
