JAKARTA - PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FASW) purchased land, building and gas turbine in Surabaya, East Java from two companies for Rp 110.01 billion. The asset transaction was conducted by PT Dayasa Aria Prima (DAP), the subsidiary of Fajar Surya Wisesa and PT Surya Agung Industri Pulp and Paper Tbk (SAIP) and Capital Management Indonesia.
Based on the company's disclosed documents, the land on Village Sumput, Gresik, East Java (which is 57,960 m2 wide) was owned by the PT Surabaya Agung Industri Pulp and Kertas, while PT Capital Management Indonesia owned a land 27,090 m2 wide. The total value of the two assets is Rp 72.94 billion. Two buildings for the parking area, cooperative, power plant area are worth Rp 3.44 billion. Finally, for machinery and equipment, consisted of gas turbine and heat recovery boiler, was worth Rp 33.67 billion.
Last week, Marco Hardy, Corporate Secretary of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FASW) stated that the company allocated US$ 60 million to acquire a factory in Driyorejo, East Java. The factory is expected to increase production, which is supporting the export market. (LK/AR)
