JAKARTA - PT Tower Bersama Telekomunikasi Tbk (TBIG) has officially acquired PT Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk (GOLD).
TBIG, a member of the Saratoga Group, purchased 160,446,200 GOLD shares or 51% of the company's issued and paid-up capital.
Based on the company's information disclosure, TBIG purchased 51% of GOLD shares from five previous shareholders, namely PT Amanda Cipta Persada, PT Mulia Sukses Mandiri, Scavino Ventures Ltd, PT Lancar Distrindo, and PT Sukses Prima Sakti.
"Yes, we have already acquired GOLD. The investment fund came from our internal cash," TBIG Chief Financial Officer Helmy Yusman Santoso told Bisnis.com, Tuesday (18/12). The 51% stake acquisition value was recorded at Rp 35.46 billion.
In the information disclosure, TBIG management said the takeover is aimed at developing the company's businesses, expanding its business networks, and strengthening its business position in the field of infrastructure and telecommunications services. (MS)
