JAKARTA - PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) decided to cut its next year's capital expenditure or capex by 50% compared to the capex in 2018.
Delta Dunia Makmur's Finance Director, Eddy Purwanto, said that in 2019, the company's capex budget will be lowered and will not exceed US$ 150 million. The reduction was carried out because from 2017 to 2018, Delta Dunia has run a cycle of equipment changes.
"For capex in 2019 will be much lower compared to 2018 because we have completed the rejuvenation of our heavy equipment. We believe that after this cycle, capital expenditure should go down to a lower level,” explained Eddy Purwanto quoted from Kontan.
For information, Delta Dunia’s capex this year has been used as much as US$ 230 million of the total capex of US$ 300 million. Whereas in 2017, the company's capex was recorded at US$ 200 million. (LM)
