JAKARTA - PT Indo Straits Tbk (PTIS) through its subsidiary PT Pelayaran Straits Perdana has received an extension of the transfer service contract on Wednesday (26/12). The contract was obtained from a South Sumatra-based coal mining company.
PTIS Corporate Secretary Ronny A. Hendrawan said the contract has a term of two years and will expire in December 2020. "The contract value obtained is US$ 7.2 million excluding VAT," Mr Hendrawan said as quoted by Kontan.co.id, Thursday (27/12).
The contract extension is considered to have a positive impact on the company's performance. The company is expected to receive additional income from the extension of the contract.
The company will also have a legal basis in serving customers in accordance with the rights and obligations contained in the contract. (MS)
