JAKARTA. PT Bank China Construction Bank Indonesia (CCB Indonesia) Tbk (MCOR) will aggressively push for syndicated financing this year to pursue a 13% credit growth target to Rp 12.8 trillion. MCOR is targeting syndicated loans of around Rp 1 trillion in 2019.
According to Setiawati Samahita, Director of CCB Indonesia, the target has increased from last year, which reached Rp 1 trillion.
In financing syndicated loans, CCB Indonesia focuses on targeting toll roads, managing clean water, power plants, and building factories. "If we participate in syndicated financing, we can join other banks according to our LLL or also through internal syndication between CCB groups to finance our customers," Ms Samahita explained, Monday (7/1).
MCOR is optimistic that it can achieve this target because in their pipeline there are still many syndicated projects that will be funded. Ms Samahita said there are 15 projects in their pipeline when each of the project values is quite large.
Currently he total corporate loan portfolio financed by Indonesian CCB reaches Rp 3.3 trillion. The number of new syndication projects obtained is around eight projects. (AM/MS)
