JAKARTA - At the end of the first session today, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed down by 5.89 points or 0.09% to 6,615. A total of 173 shares rose, 200 shares weakened and 127 shares moved flat.
Six sectors dragged the JCI into the red zone and the remaining four sectors remained in the green zone. The sectors that experienced the largest decline were the various industries sector (1.03%) and followed by the mining sector which fell by 0.77%.
LQ45's top losers in this session were PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN), PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) and PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE). (LM)
