JAKARTA. PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) projected to obtain total revenue of Rp 2.1 trillion this year, 6.6 % higher than total revenue gained in 2018 (Rp 1.97 trillion).
Edy Suyanto, Director of ARNA, said that this year's revenue growth would be supported by new plant facilities which will begin operating in the middle of the year. "The new plant, Plant 4B, is expected to be completed in June 2019," Suyanto said as quoted by Kontan, on Monday (11/2).
Previously, ARNA relied on the Plant 4 plant, which has a capacity of 8 million square meters of ceramic per year since September 2013. ARNA estimates that it will receive an additional production capacity of 6 million square meters per year from the Plant 4B. Thus, ARNA targets the installed ceramic production capacity to be 62 million square meters.
Suyanto also explained that currently, most of ARNA's sales come from Java (59.30%) with a sales value of Rp 1.16 trillion. Besides selling its products in the domestic market, ARNA also exports its products to other countries such as Malaysia, Pakistan, Mauritius, etc. (KR/AR)
