JAKARTA. In the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) of PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk, which was held on Monday (12/2), the name of the company was officially changed to PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk.
The name change is in line with Holcim's acquisition by PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR) some time ago.
In addition to changing the company's name to Solusi Bangun Indonesia, its two subsidiaries, PT Holcim Beton and PT Lafarge Cement Indonesia, were also renamed as PT Solusi Bangunan dan and PT Solusi Bangunan Andalas.
The GMS also approved these following changes in the company's commissioners and directors:

Previously, Semen Indonesia officially became a majority or 80.6% shareholder in Holcim Indonesia after completing a share purchase transaction from its previous owner, Holderfin B.V., a subsidiary of LafargeHolcim Ltd on 31 January 2019.
Semen Indonesia has signed a Conditional Sales and Purchase Agreement (CSPA) to take over 6,179,612,820 shares or 80.6% ownership of LafargeHolcim, through its subsidiary Holderfin BV, in Holcim Indonesia in 2018. Meanwhile the value of the purchase agreed upon was US$ 917 million. (AM/AR)
