JAKARTA. PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI) gained Rp 891.9 billion worth of new contracts during January 2019, up by 4.69% compared to the same period last year.
Budi Harto, President Director of ADHI, said that the acquisition of this contract was dominated by the development of Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA) Asahan in North Sumatra. The contract value of the project was recorded at Rp. 808.4 billion.
Harto added that 96.3% of those contracts came from State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Meanwhile, the rest came from government (2.5%) and private projects (1.2%).
"93.4% of them were from construction and energy business, 5.5% came from property, and the rest were from other business lines," Harto said as quoted by Kontan, on Friday (15/2).
ADHI aims to acquire Rp 35 trillion worth of contracts this year. This is 50.21% higher than the realization of the contract acquisition of Rp. 23.3 trillion in 2018. (KR/AR)
