JAKARTA - PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) gained Rp 1.99 trillion in revenue in 2018, higher than Rp 1.55 trillion gained in 2017. The growth in revenue was supported by all of the company's business segments.
Based on the company's financial statement of 2018, the company's total sales to third parties was recorded at Rp 1.96 trillion and sales to the related parties was recorded at Rp 27.63 billion. Sales to the third parties consisted of the sales of packaged cement (Rp 1.47 trillion), which was higher than its number in 2017 (Rp 1.43 trillion). Sales of bulk cement was recorded at Rp 459.49 billion, much higher than Rp 93.86 billion recorded in 2017. The sales of clinker was recorded at Rp 34.64 billion, much higher than Rp 3.51 billion recorded in 2017. Finally, transportation services was recorded at Rp 1.26 billion.
The company's gross profit was recorded at Rp 706.64 billion, much higher than the company's gross profit in 2017 at Rp 472.81 billion. The company's operating income was recorded at Rp 247.50 billion (from Rp 192.09 billion in 2017), and its profit was recorded at Rp 76.07 billion, (from Rp 146.64 billion in 2017).
