JAKARTA - PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (BNGA) disbursed Rp 188.5 trillion of loans in 2018, 1.80% higher from its number in 2017 (Rp 185.1 trillion). The company also reduced its non-performing loans (NPL) ratio from 3.75% in 2017 to 3.11% in 2018.
Based on the company's financial statements, in 2018, the largest amount of credit were disbursed for working capital (Rp 98.87 trillion), not too different from its 2017 number (Rp 98.18 trillion), followed by investment credit (Rp 42.05 trillion, from Rp 41.30 trillion in 2017) and consumer credit (Rp 47.53 trillion, from Rp 45.64 trillion in 2017).
Based on the economic sector, the credits were disbursed for industry (Rp 38.46 trillion), trade, restaurant, hotel and administrative (Rp 38.27 trillion), housing (Rp 28.21 trillion), services (Rp22.72 trillion), consumer (Rp 19.10 trillion), agriculture (Rp 16.55 trillion), and others (Rp 25.13 trillion).
