JAKARTA - PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA) conducted its private placement by releasing 1,646,427,040 shares, which represent 10% of the issued and paid-up capital of the company.
Based on the company's prospectus, the company conducted the private placement to gain funds to pay the loan (senior facility agreement) of its subsidiary, PT Lativi Mediakarya worth US$ 9,460,040 that due on October 2019. Moreover, the funds from this corporate action will be used to increase the company's working capital.
In December 2018, the company's authorised capital was recorded at Rp 3.82 trillion (Series A ). The issued and paid-up capital (A series) from PT Bakrie Global Ventura was recorded at Rp 883.93 billion, followed by the clients of Credit Suisse AG Singapore Trust A/C (Rp 111.92 billion), and public (Rp 547.08 billion). Meanwhile, the Series B authorised capital was recorded at Rp 521.12 billion. The issued and paid-up capital from the clients of Credit Suisse AG Singapore Trust A/C (Rp 75.54 billion) and public (Rp 185.02 billion).
In the third quarter of 2018, Viva's total asset was recorded at Rp 8.42 trillion, rose from Rp 7.73 trillion in 2017. While the company's total liabilities were recorded at Rp 6.10 trillion, rose from Rp 4.91 trillion. (LK/AR)
