JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) is targeting the acquisition of new contracts worth Rp 61.74 trillion in 2019, up 22% year on year (yoy).
"Projects targeted include railways, roads, dams, airports, power plants, and industrial plants," WIKA Corporate Secretary Puspita Anggraini told Kontan.co.id, Monday (18/3).
Until the end of 2018, WIKA recorded a new contract increase of 19.23% yoy to Rp 50.56 trillion. This achievement was supported by contributions from various business segments such as infrastructure and buildings amounting to Rp 41.15 trillion, industry Rp 6.46 trillion, energy and industrial plant Rp 1.79 trillion, and property Rp 1.17 trillion.
Previously, WIKA CEO Tumiyana explained that the company targeted a total order book of Rp 140 trillion this year, in line with the company's expansion plan. For this reason, WIKA has budgeted a capital expenditure (capex) of Rp 16.64 trillion. (MS)
