JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) injected Rp 200 billion into the issued and paid-up capital of PT BRI Ventura Investama. By increasing the capital, BRI's stake in the company increased from to 97.61% to 99.62%.
Bambang Tribaroto, Executive Vice President of PT BRI (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) stated that the injection of capital was intended to strengthen BRI's capital in order to expand BRI Venture's business. "Total issued and paid-up capital of the company is Rp 216.26 billion with 216,262 shares," he said as cited of the company's information disclosures.
After the injection of the capital, the composition of shareholders in BRI Ventura consisted of BRI (Rp 215.87 billion), BCA (Rp 240 million), Yayasan Kesejahteraan Pekerja BRI (Rp 136 million), and Rudolf Malo (Rp 12 million). (LK/AR)
