JAKARTA.PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Syariah Tbk (BTPS) recorded Third Party Funds (DPK) growth of 17% to Rp 7.82 trillion in the first quarter (Q1) this year, from Rp 6.70 trillion in the same quarter last year.
Ratih Rachmawati, President Director of BTPS, said that the growth in DPK has helped to increase the growth in the company's net profit. Rachmawati explained that the net profit growth in Q1 this year reached 36% to Rp. 288 billion.
"We carry out the intermediation function in a healthy and balanced manner," Rachmawati said on Tuesday (23/4) today through written statement received by idnfinancials.com.
In addition, BTPS has maintained its capital adequacy ratio (CAR) at the level of 39.4%. BTPS assets also grew by 32% to 12.54 trillion in Q1 2019, from 9.49 trillion in the same quarter last year. (KR/AR)
