Bukit Asam is ready to supply coal for Freeport and Inalum

JAKARTA. PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has the opportunity to become a coal provider for power plants belonging to members of the Mining State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Holding this year.

Arviyan Arifin, President Director of PTBA, said that the company has opened opportunities for cooperation with members of the Mining BUMN Holding. For example, PT Timah Tbk (TINS), PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), PT Inalum (Persero), and PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) whose 51% of its shares are owned by the Indonesian government.

PTBA itself has received approval from its shareholders to provide coal for Aneka Tambang's Steam Power Plant (PLTU) it Halmahera.
