JAKARTA - PT Sekar Bumi Tbk (SKBM) owns 15% shares in PT Sekar Fuji Foods, a new joint venture with Fuji Foods Corporation Japan. Sekar Fuji Foods a company that focuses business in spices and others food.
Based on the company's information disclosed in the IDX, the paid up and issued capital of Sekar Fuji Foods amounted Rp 10 billion, which Fuji Foods Corporation owns 85% or Rp 8.58 billion and Sekar Bumi owns Rp 1.51 billion, while the portfolio stock is Rp 29.90 billion.
Sekar Bumi announced the new company was built to support its main business in foods processing. The investment in shares of Sekar Fuji Foods will be recorded as cost, and its financial report is not entering into the Sekar Bumi's financial report.
In the first semester of 2018, the current asset was recorded at Rp 795.70 billion, decreasing from Rp 836.63 billion in the first semester of 2017. The non- current asset was Rp 830.90 billion, growing from Rp 786.38 billion. In addition, current liabilities were recorded at Rp 488.67 billion, decreasing from Rp 511.59 billion, and non-current liabilities were Rp 95.76 billion, rising from Rp 88.19 billion. (LK)
