JAKARTA- PT Jembo Cable Company Tbk (JECC) is optimistic with the sales revenue target of Rp 2.56 trillion by the end of 2018. In 2017, the sales revenue realization was recorded at Rp 2.18 trillion.
Antonius Benady, Director of PT Jembo Cable Company Tbk (JECC) stated the company is optimistic to reach the sales revenue target by the end of 2018 due to the realization revenue of Rp 1.42 trillion in the first semester of 2018. “We reach the target revenue of 55.83% and increased from the sales revenue of Rp 1.22 trillion in the first semester of 2017,” he said in Jakarta.
According to him, the company will focus on the domestic market in line its target, however the management continued to expand to the overseas market. In the first semester of 2018, the export portion was around 1.81%, while domestic sales was accounted for 98.19% of sales.
The company's plan to boost the export market is in line with the strategic to maintain the revenue with the rupiah fluctuation against dollar. The biggest sales based on the product are 54.43% low voltage power cable, 19.24% medium voltage power cable, 11.18% telecommunication cable, and others 16.15%. (LK)
