JAKARTA - The current growth of the comprehensive profit of PT Siantar Top Tbk (STTP) surpassed the growth that they reached during the third quarter of 2017. Its comprehensive income of Rp 206.25 billion showed a growth of 20.30% from Rp 171.43 billion reached during the same period last year.
Based on the company's financial report, Siantar Top collected a sales revenue of Rp 2.04 trillion, slightly down compared with the same period of 2017 at Rp 2.09 trillion. The largest contributor to the sales was the domestic market, which contributed Rp 1.86 trillion and the export market which contributed Rp 198 billion. During the same period last year, the domestic and export market contributed Rp 1.98 trillion and Rp 141.50 billion, respectively.
Based on the product sales, the food manufacturing & processing segment contributed Rp 1.84 trillion, comparatively stable from the last year's number of Rp 1.82 trillion. Meanwhile, its others sales was recorded at Rp 200.09 billion, declined from Rp 273.67 billion. PT Semestanustra Distrindo, a related party of PT Siantar Top Tbk, contributed 10% of the sales or RP. 1.23 trillion.
The company recorded a gross profit of Rp 449.01 billion, income before tax of Rp 258.82 billion, and profit for the period of Rp 199.65 billion. In the same period of 2017, the numbers were as follows: gross profit (Rp. 459.04 billion), income before tax (Rp. 166.56 billion), and profit (Rp. 166.56 billion). (LK/AR)
