JAKARTA - PT Gihon Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (GHON) posted growth in financial performance in the third quarter of 2018, compared to the same period of 2017. The company debuted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on April, 9 2018 by releasing 152,882,000 shares at Rp 1,170 per share.
According to the company's financial report, the company's revenue was Rp 79.67 billion, growing by 17.57% compared to the same period in 2017 of Rp 67.76 billion. The largest revenue came from PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) of Rp 40.97 billion, followed by PT Telekomunikasi Selular for Rp 15.33 billion, PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia for Rp 9.47 billion, PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) for Rp 7.77 billion, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), and PT Internux for Rp 738.87 million.
In the same period last year, PT XL Axiata contributed Rp 34.84 billion in revenue, PT Telekomunikasi Selular was Rp 11.82 billion, PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia was Rp 9.52 billion, PT Indosat Tbk was Rp 6.28 billion, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk from Rp. 4.57 billion, and PT Internux for Rp. 718.63 million.
The increase in income was also followed by an increase in gross profit of Rp 50.55 billion, from Rp 41.50 billion. Operating income was recorded at Rp 42.41 billion, up from the same period last year of Rp 38.13 billion. Profit for the year was Rp 23.12 billion, up from Rp 21.39 billion. (LK)
