Mega Perintis targets to get a profit of Rp 43 trillion next year

JAKARTA. The management of PT Mega Perintis Tbk (ZONE), a company engaged in men's fashion,  targets to grow its profit by about 23 percent to Rp 43 billion in 2019, compared to Rp 35 billion of projected profit for this year.

This was stated by the President Director of ZONE FX, Afat Adinata Nursalim after the initial listing of the company's shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Wednesday (12/12).

The increase in ZONE's net profit, Afat said, will be pushed by the increase in sales by about 16 percent to Rp 509 billion next year, compared to the 2018 target of Rp 440 billion.

"We have three fashion products with our own brands, Manzone, MOC, Men's Top while also being an authorized distributor of Nike in Indonesia. The contribution of each brand to our sales is as follows: Manzone 40%, MOC 40%, Men's Top 20% and Nike Indonesia 5%," said Afat.

To achieve its growth target next year, the company an investment fund of Rp 30 billion in 2019, which will be used to finance the construction of 20 new outlets that specifically selling ZONE's fashion brands. The source of the funds came from cash as well as the results of the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of the company.

The 20 new outlets are located in Bandung (West Java), Jakarta, Semarang (Central Java), Balikpapan (East Kalimantan), Batam and Makassar (South Sulawesi).

At present, said Afat, the company has 573 outlets spread in almost all parts of Indonesia. Meanwhile, ZONE's production capacity is recorded at 2.4 million clothes per year and in 2019 it is expected to increase by 10%. (AM/AR)
