JAKARTA. The collapse of Gubeng road in Surabaya due to faulty construction of the basement construction project had brought the name of PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO) to attention.
Siloam denied the accusation because it only rented the building. After the project contractor, PT Nusa Konstruksi Enjinering Tbk (DGIK), completed the building construction, Siloam plans to occupy the building for the operation of Siloam Hospital.
"In the construction of the hospital, Siloam is only a user/tenant," said Budijanto Surjowinoto, General Manager Affair of Siloam Hospital, Surabaya, through his official statement today (19/12).
In addition, the project owner has handed over the construction of the building to DGIK as a contractor. Meanwhile. Budi Susilo, DGIK's Director of Operation said that his party was coordinating with the Surabaya city government and other related institutions to explore the causes of the collapse of Gubeng road.
