JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Pensiun Nasional Tbk (BTPN) provided a loan facility of Rp 200 billion to PT Bank Buana Finance Tbk (BBLD), which would be used to expand its business in financing. In December 2018, Buana obtained a loan facility worth Rp 225 billion from two banks.
As cited from the company's disclosure of information, Yannuar Alin, Director of PT Buana Finance Tbk (BBLD) said that the time period of the loan is 48 months. The agreement for the loan has been signed on 31 January 2019).
In the second semester of 2018, Buana Finance's asset was recorded at Rp 4.75 trillion, while the company's liability was recorded at Rp 3.60 trillion. The company's equity was recorded at Rp 1.14 trillion. The total liabilities and equity of the company was recorded at Rp 4.75 trillion.
Previously, Buana has sought for some loan facility rather aggressively. In December 2018, Bank KEB Hana Indonesia and PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (NSIP) have provided a loan of Rp 150 billion and Rp 75 billion respectively to the company. In October 2018, Buana Finance obtained a loan of Rp 50 billion from PT Bank Mayora and PT BPD Jawa Tengah, while in July 2018, the company obtained a loan of Rp 50 billion from PT Bank Nusantara Parahyangan Tbk (BBNP).
