JAKARTA - PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) has officially taken over a 50.43% stake in PT Gihon Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (GHON) through a mandatory tender offer.
“Transaction of this mandatory tender offer was fully completed by TBIG on Friday (1/2),” said TBIG CEO Helmy Yusman Santoso as quoted by Kontan.co.id, Thursday (7/2).
Through the process, TBIG purchased a 0.31% stake or 1.69 million of GHON’s placed and paid-up shares. TBIG is now GHON’s majority shareholder with a total ownership of 50.43% or 277.34 million shares.
36.07% or 198.39 million GHON shares are owned by GHON CEO Rudolf Parningotan Nainggolan. 7.22% or 39.71 million shares are owned by PT Gihon Nusantara Tujuh and 1.66% or 9.15 million shares are owned by Felix Ariodamar, while 4.26% or 23.41 shares are owned by the public. (MS)
