JAKARTA - PT Bank BTPN Tbk (BTPN) issued 1,112,900 of new stocks by conducting the second phase of its 2016 Employee Stock Option (ESOP) program that was held from 17 December 2018 to 31 January 2019. The total phase II ESOP that can be converted is 5,073,400 stocks.
Dini Herdini, Director of PT Bank BTPN Tbk (BTNP) stated that the number of remaining stocks from the ESOP program was recorded at 3,960,500. "The remaining stocks are only from the second ESOP program," she said as cited from the disclosure of information.
The 2016 ESOP program was approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on 26 April 2016. The option right was provided several times, The first one was provided on 15 June 2016, and was provided for the last time on 11 December 2017. The option issued in every phase will expire on 29 April 2021, five years after the RUPS. (LK/AR)
