JAKARTA - Crane rental companies such as PT Superkrane Mitra Utama Tbk (SKRN) claimed to remain optimistic about the company's performance and set a growth target of 10%-15% throughout 2019.
"The crane needs are stable and there is a slight increase," said Eddy Gunawan, Corporate Secretary of PT Superkrane Mitra Utama Tbk when contacted by KONTAN on Friday (8/3).
This optimism was based on a number of projects including in early January 2019 when Superkrane was involved in the Yogyakarta international airport project. Also the Trans Sumatra road project will begin this year. In addition to projects from the government, Superkrane is also listed as leasing cranes in the construction of the PT Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk factory.
Last year, Superkrane's capital expenditure reached Rp 104.71 billion or around 51.27% of the total net IPO proceeds of Rp 204.22 billion. The capital expenditure is to buy 14 types of heavy equipment with a total value of Rp 104.71 billion.
In addition to buying heavy equipment, Superkrane also set aside Rp 56.40 billion from the IPO to pay off loans. (AM/LM)
