Air Asia issues its Perpetual Capital Security

JAKARTA - PT Indonesia Air Asia, a subsidiary of PT Airasia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP) gained Rp 1.17 trillion (US$ 80 million) by issuing its Perpetual Capital Security. The conditional Perpetual Capital Security purchase agreement was signed by the company and Airasia Berhard (AAB).

As cited from the company's disclosure of information, Dandy Kurniawan, President Director of PT Air Asia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP) stated that the funds would be used to pay bills, which will make the company's total equity to be more positive in the first quarter of 2019.

Air Asia Berhard (AAB) is an affiliate of the company. The transaction value reached Rp 1.17 trillion, which reflects 50% of the company's equity. (LK/AR)
